Topography
Topography is a state-of-the-art diagnostic tool that is used to create a 3D image of the cornea. The cornea helps you to focus. An irregular shaped cornea can cause focusing problems. The 3D image provides Dr. Alfred Hutt with very detailed information to help diagnose, treat, and monitor eye disorders. Topography is also helpful for fitting contact lenses or planning surgeries. For your convenience, topography is offered as a simple and painless in-office test at Hutt Eye Associates.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound uses soundwaves to produce images of the structures inside of the eye. It is helpful for diagnosing bleeding, tumors, inflammation, and retinal detachment. It is also used to take measurements for an artificial lens for cataract surgery. An ultrasound is a fast and painless procedure that is performed in the office at Hutt Eye Associates.
